Water Injection
With gas turbine emissions becoming ever more important due to the Kyoto Protocol, we have designed our own water injection system to reduce gas turbine NOx emissions below European legislative requirements.
Our water injection system is now in full commercial operation and the gas turbines are operating within the set NOx emission levels.
The system is robust, reliable and reduces the emissions of nitrogen oxides from the gas turbine exhaust in order to meet atmospheric pollution regulations.
The water system will not operate when running on liquid fuel, starting or part load running on gas fuel and therefore prevents damage to the hot gas components.
The water injection system is skid mounted within a single unit, sited adjacent to the gas turbine package and are installed and commissioned by our own technicians.Each system is produced after a full site installation survey is completed and a full HAZOP study is also carried out to ensure safe operation.
